The Ghana Police has arrested a suspected armed robber who was about to board a bus at the Accra Station in Takoradi on Tuesday, October 19.
According to one of the station masters, the suspected armed robber looked suspicious through his appearance which he denied him ticket access when he first approach him for one.
He revealed the man looked unrecognisable with a hooded jacket that covered his head as well as a sunshade with a lot of chains around his neck and wrist making him look horrendous.
However, the suspect was met by the police when he decided to go to another section of the station to purchase a ticket after one of the station officials placed a call to them.
After a thorough search, they discovered two cutlasses, a knife and a number of hooded jackets similar to that he was wearing and claimed to be a trader who deals in clothing.
He was taken to the police station after the ordeal as the police are conducting an investigation to bring out some facts.
