Tarkwa-Nsuaem Municipal Assembly has won an award at the 8th edition of the Open Government Partnership(OGP) Global Summit in Tallinn, Estonia.
This makes the Municipality the only local assembly to have won such an award in 2023 for its outstanding performances.
The award was presented to the Assembly on 6th September 2023, during the summit which commenced on Tuesday 5th September 2023.
The Municipality was represented by the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Benjamin Kessie and the Municipal Planning Officer, Mrs. Amanda Agyei.
The Summit which was hosted by the Estonian Government was focused on open governance, security issues and others, hence setting goals for the years ahead
