The Teacher Unions have called off their strike following a 15 per cent agreement with the government as Cost Of Living Allowance (COLA).
The Teachers and Education Workers Union (TEWU), the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT), the National Association of Graduate Teachers (NAGRAT) and the Coalition of Concerned Teachers (CCT) collaborated to strike over the failure of the government to settle them their 20% of their Cost of Living Allowance (COLA).
However, the government and the teacher unions have now come to an agreement whereby 15 per cent will be settled as their Cost Of Living Allowance (COLA).
