A Member of the New Patriotic Party(NPP) and Founder of the Dankwa Institute, Mr Gabby Otchere Darko has taken to social media to school Ghanaians on what loans secured by the Akufo-Addo government and tax payers monies have been used for.
In a twitter post sighted by GhanaPlus.com he said if anyone was in doubt where the loans and taxes were going, government was investing in education, health and infrastructure with those resources.
According to him, government was investing in the three areas in a way he had never seen before in the country’s history.
“There are three things that this government is investing in and in a way never seen before in the history of Ghana and that is a fact: Education, Health and Infrastructure. If in doubt where the loans and your taxes are going, look no further, ” his tweet reads.

Akufo-Addo agenda 111 hospitals commence next week
His comment was in reaction to the news of the commencement of government’s agenda 111 hospitals project next week.
The project, initially agenda 88 hospitals was a promise made by the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in his 8th Covid-19 address to the country on April 27, last year.
Under the initiative, government would design, build, equip and staff new hospitals in every district without one.
It would also provide new regional hospitals in every region which had none at the moment.
The project was government’s long term response to the health needs of Ghanaians.
