Kennedy Osei Nyarko Thanks Delegates For Reposing Confidence In Him

Hon Kennedy Osei Nyarko, Member of Parliament (MP) for Akim Swedru has expressed gratitude to delegates for voting for him to continue his good works.

Hon Kennedy Osei Nyarko was reelected by delegates in the Akim Swedru constituency of the Eastern region, to contest on the ticket of the NPP as Member of Parliament in the coming elections.

Holding a Thanksgiving Service at Akim Swedru Roman church to thank the delegates, he called on the other aspirants who lost at the just ended NPP primaries to join hands in making the ‘breaking the 8 slogan’ of the NPP a reality.

He thanked all delegates of the constituency for reposing confidence in him during the recent Parliamentary Primary of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP).

He was accompanied by a number constituency executives to herald praises on the delegates for voting for her once again.
According to him, it was necessary to express gratitude to God the Creator for sustenance of livelihood throughout the election period – before, during and after – adding that it was God who worked his way through the delegates for the massive endorsement.

Apart from the delegates, he also thanked all whose contribution and support have brought her that far and asked that they rallied behind her come 2016 Parliamentary Elections.

He expressed hope that with sense of purpose, he will definitely retain his seat in Parliament and appreciate more votes for the party.
He said: “I’m happy to be here today to thank God first of all, party delegates, faithful, elders, founders, identifiable groups and the general public at large for your continuous support and love shown me before and after the elections”.

Hon Kennedy Osei Nyarko also averred that he understands the current economic hardship is weighing everyone down, but regardless of the situation “we all find ourselves in, there’s hope. With prayers, supplication and hardwork, we shall all sail through. Throughout my life, I’ve never seen a prayerful person whom God has let down. Hold on, don’t give up, Hope is near, he encouraged the congregants.”
He urged Ghanaians to continue to pray amid the current economic hardship, adding that change will soon take place.

He called for party unity to ensure victory in the next election.

He said it was imperative to bury their differences, maintain a united front and work together as a party ahead of the 2024 general election.
