“In fact, I was at the reception yesterday. When you look at how glamorous the reception was and you feel the atmosphere, you can tell that this is the true state of the Ghanaian economy,” he said.

“You know, I always say that if you look at the lifestyle of the incumbent or those in government you might be mistaken. People will say it is possible what you are seeing is a product of state resources but when you see the opposition looking handsome, beautiful and carrying out activities like that it is a good signal for us,” Dr Oko Boye added.

The NPP stalwart used the opportunity to congratulate Mr Sammy Gyamfi and wish him well on his marital journey.

Oko Boye, however, urged Ghanaians to have faith that things will get better.

“So congrats to him and the same faith with which he is traveling the journey, I believe as a country, all your viewers should have the same faith. Things might be a little bit shaky . Sometimes you start a journey without knowing what will happen. I believe that most of us started this year without anticipating some of the event that we are seeing but faith is always important believing that things will get better and i am happy that we ve’ seen some of the signs of recovery at the last quarter of this year”.
