‘Beefs’ only make you trend, but hard work brings you to the limelight- Kwame Yogot
Popular Ghanaian Rapper Kwame Rapper Kwame Yogot born Kenneth Kyeremateng insists that beefing will never bring any artiste to the limelight apart from making them trend on social media.
According to the Biibi Besi hitmaker, an artiste can be popular and famous for so many years if he or she works hard to be accepted by people.
Speaking on Kumasi-based Angel Fm Drive time hosted by Ike De Unpredictable monitored by MyNewsGh.com, Kwame Yogot said “I will never respond or beef any artiste because beef will never make me famous, but my hard work will do”.
“When I was coming up as a young rapper, my mother advised me that I should work hard to get the name but not to think of beefing others to be popular or famous. I will never forget that advice from my mother” Kwame Yogot said.
Kwame Yogot emphasized that “I want to work to bring me to the limelight, not beef because the beef will only make you trend for just one week on social media”
“When people accept you by your work as an artiste, they will always follow you but when people know you through beef, they will forget you within a week after the beef,” he said.
