Bisa Kdei explains why he started his career as a rapper but ended up doing Highlife
Highlife artiste and multiple award-winning singer, Roland Kwaku Dei Appiah known professionally as Bisa Kdei has revealed that he started his career as a rapper.
“I started as a rapper a long time from way back when I began my musical journey so rap has been part of me,” he disclosed to Amansan Krakye.
Speaking on Cape Coast-based Kastle FM, Bisa Kdei explained on the Kastle Entertainment Show why he abandoned rap to rather pursue his passion for Highlife music.
He explained “But that’s not what I wanted to sell to the world over that’s why I didn’t pursue my career as a rapper it has always been Highlife.
The ‘Mansa’ hitmaker, recently returned to the music world with a delicate banger love song titled ‘Slow’ which combines slow-tempo vibes with stylish rap punchlines.
