Daddy Lumba is not what people perceive him to be
Beatmaker and music producer Appiah Dankwah known widely as Appietus has described legendary Highlife singer Daddy Lumba as a “cool and reserved guy” who always wishes to be alone with no disturbances.
According to Appia Dankwah who is an authority in the creative arts industry,” one will only appreciate the character of Lumba when you get closer to him”.
Meanwhile, one Gospel musician Great Ampong who has worked with Daddy Lumba claims the veteran artiste is greedy insisting he cheated him and ripped off his share of the money they got from a song they both did together.
But speaking to Agyemang in an interview on TV XYZ monitored by MyNewsGH.com, Appietus categorically stated that, Daddy Lumba is a good and interesting character for someone to work with.
“He is a cool guy. People don’t know him. He is very reserved because he doesn’t want to be disturbed. He always wants to be alone and think of himself. He is a free person. He can crack jokes to break your ribs. Therefore, if you are not closed to him, you might not understand him”, Appietus noted.
