Featuring Samini on my ‘Sweetie’ smash hit song was by accident
Former TV3 Mentor participant, Odakky Andy has disclosed that featuring Samini on his smash hit song ‘Sweetie’ was by accident.
“I didn’t plan to feature Samini on my sweetie song, it was an accident because the one we planned to feature was just tossing me up and down”.
“The person that I wanted to feature on the song was deceiving me so I wanted to take the song like that without their verse on it,” he added in an interview monitored by MyNewsGh.com
Talking to Amansan Krakye on Property FM in Cape Coast, Odakky Andy said record producer, Appietus, recommended Samini for the collabo.
He continued “I decided to feature Samini because back then he used to come to the studios of Appietus to record his songs.
“In my quest to take the song and release it like that without the featuring that was when Samini came into the studio and Appietus recommended him.
“Appietus asked if I would give Samini the chance to do the featuring and after listening to the song, Samini asked for pen and paper and instantly did his verse.
