Ghanaian music should reflect our society
Renowned radio personality and fashion designer, Kofi Okyere Darko popularly known as KOD has disclosed that we need to do music that affects society.
KOD made this statement by defending Highlife artiste, Dada Hafco who said Ghanaian musicians risk living in the shadow of Nigerians when they make Afrobeats music.
KOD said “I think some people don’t get Dada Hafco. We need people who will do real music.
“Music that affects society or is a reflection of us. Not jumping around tunes all the time.
“I have so much reverence for what he does. I just think he should explore more producers.
“And evolve his sound. But he’s an amazing songwriter. Don’t STOP! The music”.
