God being so good, now we are all ex-convicts – Kwaw Kese shades Shatta Wale

Popular Ghanaian hiplife artiste, Emmanual Kofi Botwe, affectionately called Kwaw Kese has reacted to the arrest of Ghanaian dancehall artiste Shatta Wale.
Speaking on TV3 NewDay on Monday, November 1 monitored by GhanaPlus.com, he said Shatta Wale and his friends called him ex-convict when he was incarcerated by the police some 7years ago.
Adding God being so good, he and the “My Level” hit maker are all ex-convict now.
“I think one time I was called ex-convict by him and his friends and all that but God being so good, now we are all be ex-convict,” Kwaw Kese said.
The artiste also known as ‘abodom’ was arrested and put behind bars in 2014 in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region for smoking cannabis in public.
Law is law – Kwaw Kese on Shatta’s arrest
Kwaw Kese said, all though he was not happy his colleague had to experience what he went through years ago, the arrest was necessary to restore some order in the Ghanaian environment.
“I am not happy that they went through that, but you know freedom is the most expensive thing in the world and you know to lose your freedom for even a second is very costly and I wouldn’t wish that for even my enemy. But the law is law”.
Self acclaimed dancehall icon, Shatta Wale was arrested by the on October 21 following a social media hoax over a gun attack on his life.
Social media report the artiste was shot by gun men and was receiving treatment at a hospital in Accra.
However, police investigations proved otherwise.
He was subsequently, arrested, arraigned before a court in Accra and remanded into police custody for one week.
Shatta Wale has since been released on bail.
Popular musician and close pal of Shatta Wale, Medikal was also arrested days after for brandishing a gun on public.
He has also been granted a bail after spending five (5) days in remand.
