“I am on the road to recovery” says Bernard Avle as he returns to radio after wife’s death

Vida Essel-LampteyMultiple award winning Journalist and Citi FM/TV’s General Manager, Mr Bernard Koku Avle has said he is on the road to recovery following the death of his wife, Justine.
The renowned broadcaster lost his wife on August 3, this year and has since been absent from his usual duties both on TV and radio.
Making a surprise comeback on Citi FM on Monday, October 31, 2022, he said the journey has been a tough one for him but he is on the road to recovery.
His return to what he loves to do best is part of the recovery processes recommended by health experts in situations of the lost of a love one.
“I am fine; I have been through a lot. As you know in August, I lost my wife and it’s been a very tough time and am on the road to recovery,” he said.
“I think part of the prescription is that you need to do the things that make you happy,” he added in a viral video sighted by GhanaPlus.com on twitter.
Bernard Avle’s wife Justine Avle reported dead
Mrs Avle, affectionately called Justine by loved ones was report died on Wednesday, August 3, evening after a short illness.
She has since been laid to rest.
She and Mr Avle a celebrated media personality and host of Citi TV’s ‘The Point of View’ and Citi Breakfast tied the knot some eleven (11) years ago in 2011 and have since been blessed with four children.
The couple first met at Thehudgroup Ghana, a dynamic, international, Christian, NFPO focused on the development of holistic Leaders.
