I introduced Sandra Ababio into the Kumawood movie industry – Lil Win
Popular Ghanaian actor, entrepreneur and musician Lil Win has revealed that he introduced actress Sandra Ababio into the Kumawood movie industry after her failed movie career in the capital Accra.
According to Lil Win born Kwadwo Nkansah, he chose to help Sandra because he knew she had the potential to succeed in the Kumawood movie industry.
He also noted that, back in the days when he wanted to enter the industry, one of the famous film directors Mr. Jackson K Bentum offered him the opportunity when he was a nobody.
“It was upon what Director Jackson K Bentum did for me that gave me the opportunity to also introduce Sandra Ababio into acting. When I met her in Accra, I realized she was very good so I encouraged her to venture into it because it was going to help her.” Lil Win told Nhyira FM in Kumasi in an interview.
According to him, he made it clear to the actress who had already starred in Nigerian movies and in series produced by Delay that, she was not going to receive money but with time things will change for the better.
“I was paying for her transportation, accommodation and all that, she wasn’t paid”, he revealed.
