I kept loving and investing in my wife but she didn’t give back the love
Nigerian actor Emeka Ike has said that throughout his years of marriage, he invested heavily in his wife to make her a better person.
However, such investments and efforts were never reciprocated in any way.
The actor, who has opened up about his marriage and the challenges he had to suffer, indicated he made several efforts to ensure that his marriage worked, but his efforts went down the drain as his wife never gave in anything.
“I was investing in someone who wasn’t investing in me. So you just keep loving, but you don’t know if you’re loved in return. That’s the mistake we make as young people. It’s about getting the girl, but you’ve not thought about your security. Does she like you? So no apologies; she’s hiding and running around,” he said.
