I prefer being a side chick for life than to be a second wife – MzGee

Renowned Media General’s presenter and entertainment host, Gloria Akpene Nyarku, popularly known as MzGee in the media and showbiz industry has said she will prefer being a side chick for the rest of her life than to be a second wife.

She made the comment while contributing to discussions on the topic “Will You Be A Second Wife?” on TV3 NewDay on Friday, September 24 monitored by GhanaPlus.com.

According to her, having been in marriage for four years she had come to realize the familiarity associated with it and quizzed the essence of being a second wife when one could have access to same benefits as a side chick.

” I will preferred and sorry if anybody feels offended , I will prefer to be a side chick all my life to this man than be his second wife. Look I am married for four year now and I know the familiarity that comes with marriage. I know the fact that you see each other every day and sometimes you don’t even want to talk to anybody but when you are a side chick you leave far away from his home, he comes once in while, he sees you looking all pretty…….,” she said.

“If I am a side chick and he sees me once in a week and he is given me a place to live and all that and I am a side chick and I am getting all these benefit , then what is it about being his second wife, the ring or the fact that what?,” MzGee added.

A man who ask for a second wife will want a third wife in the future

She explained any man who desires to have a second wife could want more and might want to have a third one in the future, one of the reasons she would not accept a second wife offer.

“I am not an expect when it comes to relationship, this is me and I think and how I feel and I believe that that once anybody is able to tell you that they want you to be their  second wife the first consideration as a woman is that what happen to their first wife. Anything that they did to the first wife they are likely to do the same to you so you might be there one day, he says I want a third wife because man in his nature our needs are insatiable so definitely, a man who is looking for a second wife will find something that is in a side chick that he would want to have as third wife,” the entertainment finest said.

“I will prefer being a side chick  all my life to this same man if that it because being a side chick i can always take my bags and exit but being a second one it takes a lot” she added.
