I’m a living testimony of “the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach”
Gospel Musician, Amy Newman has said that she is a living testimony of “the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach”.
She says when she met her husband, she used to prepare some unique jollof that caught his eyes and that of his family.
Apart from the jollof, she also had some special light soup she used to prepare for her husband.
Amy Newman who was speaking on Accra-based UTV said in recent times, young ladies are not groomed well with regards to their culinary skills but that was a prerequisite to getting settled when they were growing up.
“My husband married me because of how I could serve and cook very well. When he brought me in, I had some special jollof I used to prepare and that kept him. He also fell for my light soup. Ghana Jollof is the best and people who say Ghana jollof has no flavour clearly don’t know what they are talking about,” she said.
