I’m sorry the pig pulled me into his gutter
Nigerian Musician Burna Boy has rendered an unqualified apology to his forward looking fans for his spat on social media with Shatta Wale.
The Nigerian super star says he regrets descending into the gutters with a pig like Shatta Wale and promises not to go that low.
He says he intends staying off social media the whole year but expects to meet people in real life and deal with them.
Meanwhile, Shatta Wale is not accepting the apology from Burna Boy and expects that they will meet and fight as men to settle their scores.
In a tweet, Shatta Wale indicated that Burna Boy has proven to his fans that he is a fool and has exposed his silliness to the world.
“A team is where a boy can prove his courage on his own. A gang is where a coward goes to hide. foolish boy @burnaboy wake up and come to Ghana… I want to fight …don’t apologize cuz ur fans see how stupidly you were brought up.”
Background
Burna Boy and Shatta Wale were at each other’s neck on January 1, 2022 over Shatta Wale’s fight against Nigerians for not showing love to Ghanaian artistes although they have made a number of investments in promoting their music in Nigeria.
The two former friends revealed secrets about each other including very personal experiences that should have been kept under the carpet.
