I’m surprised my songs are streamed outside Ghana
Ghanaian singer, Kweku Flick born Andy Osei Sarfo has revealed that he thought that it was only in Ghana that his songs are being streamed.
According to the Kumasi-based rapper, he’s surprised that those who don’t even understand the language he sings in stream his songs.
He told Amansan Krakye the host “I thought it was only in Ghana that my songs were being streamed but I checked and saw Canada, USA, UK, South Africa and Nigeria.
He added on Cape Coast-based Property FM “Because my songs are mostly in the Twi local dialect it surprised me that all these people who don’t understand my Twi will be streaming.
“But I understand that some people like my vibe and melodies so that’s what they might be listening to in my songs and they feel it so much,” he revealed as MyNewsGh.com observed.
Kweku Flick concluded, “Some people don’t know anything about my lyrics but they just enjoy the vibes in my songs because music isn’t about language whether you speak Twi or English”.
