Bishop Stephen Kwesi Appiah known popularly as Jesus Ahuofe has been granted bail.

Bishop Stephen Kwesi Appiah was remanded after he was arrested for prophesying the death of Ghana Dancehall King Shatta Wale.

The Man of God was charged with causing fear and panic but pleaded not guilty when he appeared before court on Thursday.

He was then remanded into prison custody by a Circuit Court presided over by Her Honour Mrs Ellen Offei Aryeh.

This was after his Lawyer failed to prove with supporting documents that he was sick when he argued in court that his client is unwell.

Jesus Ahuofe is standing trial for his prophecy about Shatta Wale being killed by gunmen just like Lucky Dube was killed on October 18.
