LGBTQI is not in the north so I don’t know much about it

Ghanaian musical artiste, Mujahid Ahmed Bello known by his stage name Fancy Gadam has LGBTQI is not common in Northern Ghana hence his scanty knowledge of it. What he perhpas knows clearly is that in the north members of the LGBTQI community could be beaten to a pulp if caught.

“I don’t see such things in the north not at all because if you are caught being gay or lesbian they will beat you severely,” he warned.

Talking to Amansan Krakye on the Kastle Entertainment Show, Fancy Gadam who hails Tamale said homosexuality isn’t prevalent in the Northern part of Ghana.

“I haven’t condemned homosexuality since is not in the north so I don’t know much about it,” he explained.

On the issue of people advocating for same-sex marriage to be made legal in Ghana, Fancy Gadam who is staunch Muslim said this will never come to pass in this country.

“Legalizing same-sex marriage in Ghana can never happen, that thing will not come to pass,” he revealed on Kastle FM in Cape Coast.
