Vida Essel-LampteyGhanaian Television personality and entrepreneur, Ms Deloris Frimpong Manso, affectionately called Delay has said she can never undergo a liposuction to alter her body for any reason what so ever.
“There is this sudden grace for superficiality that is why today someone can say my belly has become big so I am going to do surgery to fix it since when did we get here,” she said.
“It is something that me I can never do,” she added in a viral video sighted by GhanaPlus.com on Instagram.
Delay made the comment when she expressed worry over the sudden obsession for superficiality in the Ghanaian space.
“Maybe I am primitive but where my mind is, I have worn this dress, if you want to know how I am, it is slippers am wearing here. I am a very grounded, simple; I don’t worry myself in the world. For me, if I wake up, it is only my work that I think about; I wake up, do my work, return home,” the renowned media personality explained her reasons.
Delay was speaking to a gathering of young people at this year’s Youth Experience organized by the Refined Vessel Chapel International in Kwadaso in the Ashanti Region.
The programme was on the theme “Remember Your Creator In Thy Youth”.
