Maccasio knows I’m the biggest artiste in the north
Tamale-based Ghanaian artiste, Fancy Gadam has revealed that his fellow musician from the north, Maccasio was seeking for attention to get to the limelight by riding on his (Fancy Gadam’s) fame.
He said in an interview with Amansan Krakye “I came before Maccasio, I was already big before him so they created this whole thing just to get into the limelight”.
Talking about the perceived animosity that exists between him and Maccasio, Fancy Gadam said it’s a healthy competition though he reckons he is bigger and well-known before his colleague emerged.
He added “I was the only artiste who was reigning in the Northern region so I think they created this path just to get attention.
“So I will just say he was riding on Fancy Gadam’s fame but it’s a healthy competition,” he remarked on Kastle FM in Cape Coast.
Meanwhile, Maccasio has given his account of what caused the feud between him and Fancy Gadam, stressing that the singer is jealous of him.
The two artistes who hail from the Northern region have made headlines following a long-standing battle for supremacy catapulting into fierce scuffle between their fans.
