Stardom cannot make me ‘too busy’ not to pick my mum’s calls
Lyrically gifted Highlife artiste, Kofi Kinaata born Martin King Arthur has said that neither fame nor stardom can ever make him refuse to answer phone calls from his mother.
“As for the calls from my mum if the phone is close to me I’ll definitely answer the call any day at any time,” he said in an interview on Cape Coast-based Kastle FM.
“But I will never intentionally refuse to answer my mum’s call because I’m famous or due to my busy schedules, she always comes first,” Kofi Kinaata told Amansan Krakye.
Meanwhile, Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie recently disclosed that this habit of not answering or returning phone calls is an issue he has been battling with since he shot to fame.
Sarkodie said it has gotten to the point where even his mother complains bitterly about such conduct which she finds annoying.
Kinaata continued “Unless probably I have a case that you need proper clarification and so I need to cross-check some facts and get back to her, why not”.
