The fear of Sarkodie nearly stopped me from releasing my “Faithful” hit song – Okyeame Kwame

Speaking in an interview on Angel TV Okyeame Kwame noted that, before the release of the song ‘Faithful’, he was scared the presence of Sarkodie in the music scene at the time could kill his song from reaching his fans ad getting the acclamation he wanted
“At that moment Sarkodie was coming with Hip Hop from my back with such speed that I needed to do something interesting that wasn’t young. So I was switching from a young boy to a man. So when it worked, I was like “Awurade meda wase” (thank you God)”. Okyeame Kwame confessed former colleague Quofi Okyeame in an interview monitored by MyNewsGH.com
He continued his interview saying releasing Faithful was a very dangerous thing to do but he had to take the risk to grab the opportunity.
“It was a very dangerous thing to do. Today, I don’t even know whether it’s a Highlife song, Hip Hop song or whatever”, he stressed
