There is no better profession like being a musician
Legendary Ghanaian Highlife artiste Julius Kojo Antwi known by his stage name as Kojo Antwi says being a musician is the best job one can find under the sun.
“I don’t think there is any better profession like being a musician”, Kojo Antwi told Asaase radio in an interview.
According to him, the acclamation and the kind of love he receives from his fans aloe makes his career the best among all.
Kojo Antwi also noted that considering where he started from and how he rose in the industry he never thought people could accept his craft in such a manner.
“I went through being a band boy, I became a bandsman, the performer, before I walked into studio to put ideas together. I never thought people will gravitate to my sound, words lie they have done”. He narrated his story on Asaase Radio in an interview.
You come on stage and people welcome you with smiles with expectations.
“However, when you work in an office, you wake up on Monday morning and you are like Charlie Monday again and when is Friday coming… I don’t like that feeling”, he noted.
