Use your following to preach peace and unity among Africans- Yul Edochie to Shatta Wale
Actor Yul Edochie has waded in on the “beef” between Nigerian artists and Shatta Wale.
He believes that the musician ought to apologise to his colleagues in Nigeria for insulting them unprovoked while performing at the Accra Sports Stadium on Christmas Day.
Yul Edochie who confessed to be a fan of the Ghanaian Dancehall Artiste said Shatta Wale with his kind of following should preach peace and not be divisive.
He could not fathom what triggered the insult but said Nigerian actors for example never insulted Ghanaian actors when they were given roles in Nigerian movies in some time past.
It could be remembered that while Performing at the Freedom Concert at the Accra Sports Stadium, Shatta Wale threw some jabs at Nigerians.
To him, they receive love and support from their colleagues in Ghana but such love is not reciprocated in Nigeria.
He indicated that his colleagues have wasted money promoting their songs in Nigeria but the breakthrough has never happened; a move he sees as worrying.
He believes that the love shown artistes from Nigeria should be reciprocated at all levels.
