#VGMA23: I don’t mind if Akwaboah grabs Best Highlife Song
Apart from grabbing nominations in the Ghana Music Awards 2022, Cina Soul was also featured on Akwaboah’s ‘Obiaa’ song which was also nominated.
The Ghanaian Highlife Singer has revealed that she would be glad to see Akwaboah winning big with ‘Obiaa’ if her song ‘Feelings’ doesn’t win the Best Highlife Song.
Speaking in an interview with Amansan Krakye on Kastle FM in Cape Coast, Cina Soul said the battle for Best Highlife Song will be between her song ‘Feelings’ and ‘Obiaa’ by Akwaboah.
“To be nominated with the likes of Kinaata, Eugene, and all these people, it feels really good and the fact that I’m on another song that I featured on,” she said.
“So right now I’m just rooting for me and Akwaboah, if I don’t get it, I don’t mind if Akwaboah wins the Best Highlife Song award with Obiaa,” she continued.
“It’s between my song Feelings and Akwaboah’s Obiaa to lift the Highlife song award in my mind but I’m supporting everyone,” she ended on the Kastle Entertainment Show.
