10 goals in 13 matches, Ghana’s Kingsley Ofori in prolific form for SJK Akatemia in Finnish Kokkone league.
Kingsley Asante Ofori is enjoying a purple patch in the Finnish Kokkone league as he recorded his 10th league goal for SJK Akatemia last Monday in a 1-1 draw against JJK Jyvaskyia.
Ofori put Akatemia ahead in the 49th minute after a difficult first half had foreshadowed a challenging encounter for both sides.
The goal was assisted by Finnish forward Oliver Gunes who dribbled past an opposing defender in the box to send a low cross for Ofori, positioned at the right place at the right time to tap into the net.
That was the only goal for SJK Akatemia as JJK Jyvaskyia showed determined spirit to get the equalizer in the 68th minute through Robin Saastamoinen.
Kingsley Asante Ofori played 90 minutes and is the highest goal scorer in the Group C of the Finnish Kokkone league. SJK Akatemia lead the group with 29 points after 13 games.
