20/21 Ghana Premier League matchday 34: WAFA SC beat Hearst of Oak to finish in third
WAFA SC are finishing third on the Ghana Premier League table after beating Hearts of Oak 1-0 on Saturday afternoon.
The Academy boys all season have been impressive especially after improving on their away form.
With a chance to finish in third on the back of what has been an exciting campaign, WAFA SC today hosted Hearts of Oak at the Sogakope Red Bull Arena.
In a game the was played in front of a packed crowd, the home team excelled and managed to cruise to an important 1-0 win at the end of the game courtesy of a strike from Atte Yousifou in the second half.
Now finishing third at the end of the Ghana Premier League season, WAFA SC will be entitled to GHS80,000.
Despite the defeat, Hearts of Oak are being crowned Champions of the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season.
