2021/22 Ghana Premier League matchday 15: Legon Cities defeat Eleven Wonders 3-0
Coach Maxwell Konadu on his return from Black Stars duty has led Legon Cities FC to a 3-0 victory against Eleven Wonders in the Ghana Premier League today.
The gaffer was deputy to coach Milovan Rajevac early this month when the Black Stars competed in the 2021 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.
Due to the poor performance of Ghana, the national team exited at the end of the group stage of the tournament.
As a result, Coach Maxwell Konadu has returned to Legon Cities FC as their head coach to concentrate on the Ghana Premier League.
Today at the El-Wak Sports Stadium, the gaffer was in the dugout and oversaw their impressive performance in the game against Eleven Wonders.
Courtesy of goals from Hamza Abdul Nasiru, Croster Obour, and Jonah Attuquaye Legon Cities FC run away with all three points after cruising to an important 3-0 win at the end of the tough contest.
