2021/22 Ghana Premier League matchday 21: Real Tamale United holds flying Aduana Stars
On Sunday afternoon, Real Tamale United held Aduana Stars to a close stalemate at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium.
Real Tamale United got off to a good start as Baba Kushibo scored in the 32nd minute with a beautiful shot.
However, a determined Aduana Stars came back in the second half to grab a point as Eric Kwakwa equalized with 20 minutes remaining.
Real Tamale United would be disappointed with wasted opportunities after starting the game well, generating chances but only taking one in the first half.
Real Tamale United controlled the first half and were confident they could do it again after the interval.
In form Aduana Stars, a two-time Ghana Premier League winners did not give up their effort was rewarded late into the second half.
Former Medeama midfielder Eric Kwakwa pounced on an opportunity to equalize the score after consistent attacks from Aduana
The game ended 1-1 after both teams failed to grab all three points at stake.
