2021/22 Ghana Premier League matchday 25: Gold Stars come from behind to beat Olympics 2-1

Bibiani Gold Stars bagged three big points on Sunday afternoon when the team came from behind to defeat Great Olympics 2-1.

The team in the last few weeks have been fighting to secure points to fuel its ambition to avoid relegation from the Ghana Premier League at the end of the ongoing season.

Today, the team hosted Great Olympics in a matchday 25 encounter of the 2021/22 Ghanaian top-flight league campaign.

Unfortunately for Gold Stars, the visitors had a bright start and took the lead after just 22 minutes of play when Maxwell Abbey Quaye equalised with a fine strike.

With the team now pegged back, it took a resilient effort from the players of Gold Stars to turn things around.
