Ghanaian midfielder Kwadwo Duah scores as St Gallen suffer heavy defeat against Grasshopper CZ

Switzerland-born Ghanaian forward Kwadwo Duah was on target for his outfit St Gallen despite defeat against Grasshopper CZ on Saturday.

Duah scored one of the consolation goals for the visitors who suffered a 5-2 defeat in the Swiss Super League.

Mamadou Kaly Sene and Leo Bonatini gave Grasshopper a two-goal cushion before the break.

Nicholas Luchinger pulled one back for the visitors just a minute into the second half.

Sene scored again restore the hosts’ two-goal advantage three minutes later before Duah converted a penalty to reduce the deficit.

However, goals from Bendeguez Bolla and Djibril Diani in the 70th and 84th minutes sealed the victory for Grasshopper.

Duah has scored two goals after 8 appearances in the Swiss top-flight this season.

Meanwhile, Black Stars goalkeeper Lawrence Ati-Zigi was in the posts for St. Gallen.
