Ghanaian giant’s Asante Kotoko recorded a narrow win over West African Football Academy (WAFA) at the Baba Yara stadium in Kumasi.
The Porcupine Warriors picked an all important victory on home turf in matchday 10 of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday courtesy, Richmond Lamptey’s strike.
The former Inter Allies midfielder scored in the 58th minutes to propel record Ghana Premier League winners to victory.
The game seems to be balance with both sides failing to score in the first half, however, it was Lamptey who rose to the occasion to bag Kotoko’s only goal of the match.
Lamptey has been instrumental since joining the Porcupine Warriors from Inter Allies.
