2021/22 GPL: Legon Cities 3-0 Eleven Wonders- Match Report
Legon Cities cruised to a convincing 3-0 victory over Eleven Wonders in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
After a barren open 45 minutes at the El-Wak Stadium in Accra, the Royals turned up the style in the second half to see off the visitors.
Hamzah Nassiru scored his debut goal for Legon Cities to put them in front on the hour mark.
Before two late goals from Croster Obour and Jonah Attuquaye sealed the victory for Coach Maxwell Konadu on his return to the Cities dugout.
The result ensured the Royals‘ return to winning ways following a disappointing 2-1 defeat at Gold Stars.
While Eleven Wonders’ struggle on the road continues with their eighth straight away defeat.
