2021 AFCON: Kamaldeen Sulemana joins Black Stars squad in Cameroon for tournament
Kamaldeen Suleman has arrived in Cameroon to team up with the rest of the Ghana’s squad for the Total Energies Africa Cup of Nations – Cameroon 2021.
The Rennes winger who couldn’t join the Black Stars’ camp in Doha travelled from France to meet the squad in Yaoundé on Saturday. The arrival of the 20- year will give Coach Milovan Rajevac a boost ahead of Ghana’s opening Group C match against Morocco on Monday.
The four-time African Champions will later take on Gabon and Comoros in the other Group C matches.
Kamaldeen joins 25 other players who are already in camp in Cameroon with two others, Kudus Mohammed and Philemon Baffuor expected to join later.
The former Nordsjaelland FC winger, who has made 6 appearances for Ghana since his debut against Mali in October 2020, will wear the number 22 shirt during the Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
