2021 AFCON: We need to stay focused and be strong-minded – Milovan Rajevac warns Black Stars
Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac has warned his players to stay focused and be strong-minded ahead of their final Group C game against Comoros at the ongoing 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) on Tuesday.
The Black Stars are yet to secure a victory at the tournament having lost 2-0 to Morocco in their opening game and held to a 1-1 draw by Gabon last Friday.
Ghana must beat Comoros to stand a chance of going through to the round of 16 stage.
“It was a difficult and competitive game. We were supposed to end the match-winning, but as in the first game we lost concentration,” the Serbian acknowledged in his post-match interview.
“I think in the next game we will do better and we will be able to collect the three points to move on to the next stage. We need to stay focused and be strong-minded to move on.”
The four-time African champions have only one point and currently sit third in the group.
