2022 FIFA WCQ: Ethiopia to host Ghana in South Africa in penultimate Group G game
Ghana will later this month be involved in a must-win game against Ethiopia in the qualifiers to the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament.
The Black Stars are currently second on the Group G standings of African qualifiers to the World Cup as they trail South Africa by a single point.
This month when the international break comes around, Ghana will face Ethiopia and South Africa in games the team must win to progress to the next stage of the qualifiers.
For the Ethiopia game that will be an away fixture, the FA of the country has resorted to hosting Ghana in South Africa.
This is because of a ban by CAF. According to the Ethiopia FA, they have chosen to stage the match in South Africa because it will help cut down costs.
The game will hence be played at the Orlando Stadium on November 11, 2021.
