2022 FIFA World Cup playoff: Black Stars visit Otumfuo ahead of epic clash against Nigeria in Kumasi
The Ghana national team will this evening pay a courtesy call on the Asantehene of Asanteman, His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II ahead of the clash against Nigeria on Friday night.
The Black Stars have been in Kumasi since Tuesday preparing for the first leg encounter against the Super Eagles tomorrow.
Today, the players together with the technical team will be led by GFA officials to visit Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
Among other things, the team will seek the blessing and support of His Royal Majesty for the clash against Nigeria in the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
The first leg of the playoff tie of the African qualifiers for the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament is scheduled to be played on Friday, March 24, 2022.
Tomorrow’s encounter between Ghana and Nigeria is scheduled kick-off at 19:30GMT.
Meanwhile, the Nigeria team has arrived in Kumasi and will hold a training session at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium this evening.
