Abdul Mugeese Zakaria marks Ashdod debut with a goal
Ghanaian attacker Abdul Mugeese Zakaria scored on his debut for Ashdod FC in their 1-1 home stalemate against Kiryah Shmona.
The attacker climbed off the bench to score the equalizer for his side as they were held at home by the impressive visitors.
Mohammed Shaker gave the visitors the lead in the 37 minute after finishing a good team move.
Mugeese Zakaria who came in for Ramzi Safuri in the 59 minutes grabbed the equalizer four minutes after his introduction.
The goal was his first for the club since joining the club three weeks ago from Dreams FC.
Compatriot Montari Khameheni lasted the entire duration of the game for Ashdod FC.
Ashdod are third on the Israeli top-flight league after 27 games played.
