Agyemang Badu joins Chinese club Qingdao Huanghai

According to Ghanasportscenter.com Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu, a Ghanaian midfielder has joined Chinese Super League club Qingdao Huanghai in the ongoing summer transfer window.

The agreement, which included medical examinations, was completed on Friday night.

After signing a two-year deal with the Chinese Super League club, Agyemang-Badu will join the Chinese club for the 2021/22 season.

Badu who joined Italian team Udinese 11 years ago after winning the U20 World Cup joined the Chinese club on a free transfer. He featured on loan with Hellas Verona last season.

The former Black Stars midfielder had a rough season after being diagnosed with pulmonary microembolism and missing the most of the season. For Hellas Verona, he only made ten appearances.

Prior to joining Udinese, Agyemang-Badu played in Spain for Asante Kotoko and Recreativo Huelva.
