Ajax Amsterdam boss Erik Ten Hag has offered some kind words to Ghana prodigy Kamaldeen Sulemana in the hope that he will choose to switch to the Dutch club in the summer.

Ajax are one of the several clubs around Europe courting the FC Nordsjaelland star.

The teenager has long been linked with the Dutch giants, and Ajax director Marc Overmars was at the stadium to watch the winger when the Farum club played 2-2 with FC Copenhagen last week.

There are other clubs that have shown interest in the Ghanaian youngster, and the Ajax coach hopes that the highly-rated player will choose to come to the Johan Cruijff Arena.

“Of course we know a lot about him. It depends on the market what we can do; whether we can get him ahead of the others,” he told ESPN.

“But it is obvious that he is a really good player. We hope he can see Ajax as a springboard.”

Sulemana has been outstanding for Nordsjaelland in the Danish Superliga this season where he has 10 goals and has notched six assists in the process.
