Alexander Djiku reacts to draw against Young Boys
Present for a good hour of play, Alexander Djiku as usual made a clean performance. The central defender reacted to the draw acquired by his team against the Young Boys of Bern (2-2).
“The team had a good behavior overall, we had the strength of character and the mentality to come back after the 2-1. It shows the daily state of mind of not wanting to let go. Knowing that Bern is a very good team that plays Europe every year and completely dominates its championship,”he said.
“In terms of play, we got off to a good start with a possession to our advantage which resulted in the goal. The action before their equalizer is 1-1, you can even double the bet. In the last quarter of an hour, we fell back a bit, but we formed a low block and that also allowed us to work on the defensive aspect, without the ball,”
“In terms of animation, our 4-4-2 gave them problems with our permutations while keeping the balance. We continue to work on different systems, as in the second period with a 4-3-3, we are on the right track,”
“I hope we have a good season and I hope to see a full Meinau in early August,” he ended
