Alexander Djiku returns for Strasbourg, fit for Ghana duties
Ghana international Alexander Djiku is available for Black Stars qualifying matches against Ethiopia and South Africa.
The Black Stars will play host to Ethiopia on Friday night at the Cape Coast stadium before they will travel to South Africa on September 6.
Djiku, who has become a key cog of CK Akonnor’s team returned from suspension to feature for Strasbourg last Sunday when they played Brest.
Strasbourg inflicted a 3-1 victory over their opponents with the Ghanaian defender playing a key role for the club.
He lasted the entire duration for Strasbourg and is expected to join the Black Stars team for the qualifiers.
