Andre Ayew scores in Al-Sadd pre-season win
Black Stars skipper Andre Ayew was on target for Al Sadd in their 5-3 pre-season win against Figueres on Monday.
The 31-year-old scored one of the goals as his side walloped the lower tier side in their first pre-season game.
Algerian forward Baghdad Bounedjah scored twice, while Santi Cazorla and Mohammed Almanai also found the back of the net on the day.
Ayew was substituted in the second half for Mahdi Salem after an impressive outing.
Andre Ayew joined the Asian side on a two-year deal as a free agent with an option for a third after completing his medical in Doha.
Al Sadd are in Spain for pre-season ahead of the 2021/22 football season.
Ayew became a free agent after leaving Championship side, Swansea City at the end of the 2020/21 season.
