Andre Ayew’s coach at Al-Sadd Xavi on the brink of joining Barcelona
Ghana international, Andre Ayew is set to lose his head coach at Al-Sadd SC, Xavi Hernandez.
This is because the young tactician is on the brink of sealing a move to Barcelona to coach his former club.
The Spanish La Liga giants are in the hunt for a new head coach following the sacking of head coach Ronald Koeman on Wednesday after the team lost 1-0 to Rayo Vallecano.
Subsequently, after that decision was taken, Barcelona president Juan Laporta is said to have contacted Xavi over the possibility of taking charge of the club.
With the player interested in the offer, talks are ongoing with Al-Sadd SC officials for Xavi to join Barcelona as the club’s new head coach.
Once that happens, it means Black Stars captain Andre Ayew will be playing under a new head coach for the remainder of the 2021/2022 football season.
Already, Andre Ayew under Xavi has lifted one trophy since he joined the Qatari giants.
