ARFA Division Two middle league to begin on Sunday : Asekem, Ebony, Benab and five others to battle for Division One slot

The Ashantigold Regional Football Association has announced that, this year’s middle League will be hosted at the Nana Okese Park on Sunday, September 5, 2021.

Eight teams from the regions are expected to be paraded at Okesie Park to battle for the Division One slot.

The 2020-2021 Ashanti Region Division Two League featured 56 clubs spread across seven zones of which eight clubs, comprising seven clubs who finished at the apex of their respective groups plus the best runner-up qualify for the Middle League.

The participating clubs – in the impending Middle League – will be divided in two groups of four with the team which finishes in first position after a round robin moving to the final playoff game with the eventual winner booking a berth in the Division One League on the ticket of the Ashanti region.

Nana Afrane Okese Park in Ejisu, the hometown of the revered Yaa Asantewaa, has been chosen to host teams in the mini competition which kick starts on September 5 2021.
