Asante Kotoko Emmanuel Gyamfi gets one-game ban, fined GHc 1000 by GFA
Asante Kotoko deputy captain Emmanuel Gyamfi has fined GH1000.00 and will serve a one-game ban for breaching article 34(6)(d) of the Ghana Premier League regulations.
During the match between Inter Allies FC and Asante Kotoko at the Theatre of Dreams, Emmanuel Gyamfi stamped player number 45
of Inter Allies (Andy Okpe) in an off-ball situation around the 65th minute of the game, an action which in the opinion on the
association is improper and likely to bring the game into disrepute.
The Ghana Football Association Disciplinary Committee after sitting on the case found the player guilty.
Decision by GFA D/C:
Emmanuel Gyamfi is found guilty of the Charges. A fine of GHc1,000 is hereby imposed on Emmanuel Gyamfi in accordance with Article 6.1(c) of the GFA Disciplinary Code That Emmanuel Gyamfi is hereby handed a onematch ban in accordance with Article 12(b) of the GFA Disciplinary Code. Emmanuel Gyamfi is warned that any future misconduct shall receive a more severe punishment.
