Asante Kotoko set to sign highly-rated youngster Augustine Agyapong
Asante Kotoko are on the verge signing of highly-rated youngster Augustine Agyapong from Delsamaco FC in the ongoing transfer window.
The 17-year-old is expected to sign a deal with the club in the coming days, according to reports.
Agyapong was one of the standout players for Delsamaco FC in the Bono and Ahafo regional second Division League as he helped the club qualify to the Middle League.
The right-back made 18 appearances, scored three goals, and provided 25 assists for the ‘One Dream One Team’ outfit last season.
He provided the only assist last Saturday when they narrowly humbled Bectero Sasana FC in the final playoff round to cruise to the final four of the Middle League.
If he puts pen to paper, Agyapong will be the Porcupine Warriors’ 6th signing so far in the ongoing transfer window.
However, Asante Kotoko have also reached agreement with Medeama SC duo Richard Boadu and Samuel Appiah, a move which will be made official in the coming weeks.
